I didn't know how the purple was going to look, but it's the right color purple for my skin. I'm so lucky to have a bride with really good taste.
Lots of people have noticed the weight loss -- I've noticed how my body is changing... but it's been a slow and grueling journey!
Oh man - I go away for one weekend and I miss soooo much on your blog. You look AMAZING in this dress. Fantastic color!

Well you are lucky yours fit I lost 110lbs and my bride ordered dresses in juniors sizes and of course that color only came up to a size that doesn't fit me so I've been trying to lose more weight but I can't shrink my bones so now I have to pay to get it altered but that dress looks great on you and purple is my favorite color have fun at the wedding I know I'm gonna at mine weather the dress fits or not lol :) Danielle A (in case u don't know my aim)

I love all of you... Seriously, sitting here feeling the love radiate. I mean I know I did the work to look good in the dress (and will continue to do the work) but to know that other people recognize it really keeps me motivated.
As for purple -- I didn't know whether it'd look good on me or not -- there are certain colors i can't wear (kelly green, orange, yellow, lavender, taupe/peach) because they make me look yellow. Purple dances a fine line.

I'm thinking of doing a braided chignon -- I want something that will stay in place for the wedding, but that will look okay if I need to take it out for the reception....
More importantly, I'm trying to figure out if I'm going to wear my Body Media Fit while dancing :P
Heli -- I too hope the dress stays up. If not, there might be a few problems. Luckily I know a very good tailor.
